Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has officially confirmed that sequels to his hit cop dramas Simmba and Sooryavanshi are in the works, much to the delight of fans of his action-packed Cop Universe.
Speaking at a recent media event, Shetty revealed, “Yes, we are working on the sequels to Simmba and Sooryavanshi. The characters of Sangram Bhalerao and Veer Sooryavanshi will return. These films have given us so much love, and the audience clearly wants more.”
While Shetty didn’t disclose exact timelines or release dates, he assured that development is underway. He also emphasized that the Cop Universe — which already includes Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi — is far from complete. “There will be more films in this universe. The story is still unfolding,” he said.
